This is a good jacket for any woman wanting something for some of the colder fall days. This jacket is an excellent wind breaker and will keep you surprisingly warm for how lightweight it is. This jacket is also waterproof. The outer shell material of this jacket has rain drops practically rolling off of it so you will never show up anywhere soaking wet.I wish this jacket had a heavier fleece on the inside so that it could still be worn in the middle of winter. The fleece in it now will have no problem keeping you warm on those extra cold fall days, but once the snow hits, it is probably time to pack it away. Occasionally I wished that the jacket had a detachable hood incase I ever needed it. However, if you wear a hat, it is not a big issue.You can count on this jacket lasting a long time. I have had mine for about 5 years and the only thing starting to wear are the cuffs of the sleeves. Some of the outer shell has rubbed off, but nothing noticeable from afar. If you get this coat dirty it is no big deal. Just throw it in the washer and your jacket will look brand new again. You will definitely get your money's worth out of this jacket.
