I bought these pants to wear at work and for hiking. I had to size up for my larger thighs, but the waist is way too big. No problem because the waistband is elastic and has a tie. These pants are SUPER comfortable. I love the softness of the fabric. But, I’ve worn them a couple times under waders (I’m an aquatic biologist) and they have pills in several places now :( For as much as these pants cost, I was expecting the fabric to hold up better. I haven’t worn them hiking yet and I’m not sure I will because they are very long (I’m 5’7” and the XL goes about 3” past my feet).If you’re just wearing these around town and not into nature, they’d be fine. They’re in so comfortable, it’s like wearing pajamas. The fit is reasonably flattering for this pear-shaped woman. I also really love the teal color pants - they’re kind of a greenish-gray. I also liked the dark gray and that color went with more of my wardrobe.
